The transformation of our farm into a lush oasis  starts in the plant nursery called the vivero.

Plant a seed and it will grow.  The nursery provides the opportunity to turn seeds into seedlings.  The dark, rich soil allows the seedlings to thrive.

Planting trees offers a great sense of satisfaction. It  not only benefits the environment, but also our sense of well-being.

Participating in activities that help our environment is rewarding.  It brings positive change, and it boosts personal satisfaction.

A food forest provides a low-maintenance, sustainable source of food that supports biodiversity, reduces erosion, and sequesters carbon.

Making a difference - planting trees helps to reduce our carbon footprint while supporting much needed reforestation efforts in Ecuador.

Hundreds of Saman seedlings, along with other hardwoods, were planted this year.  Planting trees benefits our planet by reducing carbon emissions, providing oxygen, and creating habitats for wildlife, while enriching the soil.

These Saman trees are only five years old. Saman trees offer rapid growth of five feet per year and will grow up to 100' tall with a canopy of 100' wide.  

Over the years we've planted 1000s trees of various species that have and will continue to allow the land to transform into a productive natural landscape.
